SMART YOUTH

SMART YOUTH

The 'SMART YOUTH' project provides young people with an opportunity to develop various aspects of communication. It offers them a chance to learn how to address important topics such as education, sexuality, drugs, youth culture, climate change and its consequences, as well as fostering effective communication between adults and young people.

'SMART YOUTH' encompasses four key components. Firstly, the youth of Curaçao are engaged through the 'Speech Contest' (Smart Talk), enabling them to express their opinions and ideas. Secondly, 'Debate and Discussions' (Smart Debaters) encourage them to actively participate and become role models for other young people.

Additionally, these young individuals, who are the future leaders, receive leadership training to further enhance their skills in Smart Talk and Smart Debaters. Smart Talk. Smart Debaters.

Smart Quiz
Smart Quiz is an integral part of the Smart Youth initiative. It provides a platform for children to engage in meaningful conversations about important themes through thought-provoking questions. They also challenge each other in a friendly competition. Smart Quiz creates an opportunity for schools to compete against each other, and the winning school receives a prize.

To participate in Smart Quiz, simply sign up! The school will then receive an application form.
